The Obama Depression continues.

Stock market tumbles hundreds of points.

Greece in economic collapse.

Double digit unemployment.

“We can see that the difficult and at times unpopular steps we've taken over the last year are making a difference,” said Obama, who spoke from the Rose Garden and was flanked by members of his economic team.

The unemployment rate rose from 9.7 to 9.9 percent.

Obama is so powerful he caused Greece's economic collapse too?

I'm going to disagree with you on that, stooje.

But the Obama supporters did claim that Obama would change the world. Ouch!

Disagree with what? I asked a question. I explained what that squiggly line with the dot under it means to you once already.

You wrote "The Obama Depression Continues" followed by "Greece in economic collapse." I was asking if you thought the two things were related, since the way you wrote it implied that they were.

Duh, don't you see the similarities of massive deficit spending? Runaway government employee benefits...

Stooj, don't you realize we live in not only a national economy but also a global economy?

Do you think the US economy is "too big to fail"?

Do you think the government should try to spend our way out of this depression?

DiscordianStooge said...

There may be similarities. That's not what you said.

Yes.

This question means nothing. Being "too big to fail" only works when there's someone who depends on you that will bail you out. No one is bailing out the U.S.

No.

Are you trying to tell me what I said?

Stooj, the government is supposed to depend on the people. Give that Declaration of Independence and Constitution a look see for once.

Do you think the government should try to spend our way out of this depression?

Yep. You seem to not know.

Do you think the government should try to spend our way out of this depression?

I already said no.

Stooj, the government is supposed to depend on the people.

The government is the people, and the people the government. The people aren't an outside entity the government can depend on.

None of which has anything to do with why Greece is part of "The Obama Depression."

So typical that a copper would tell someone else what they said.
Heh.

Also answered this yes. Do you read my responses?

Will you explain why Greece's collapse specifically was listed as part of "Obama's depression"? Did we cause it? Did it cause our depression?

I'm also trying to figure out how we have both double digit unemployment, and 9.9% unemployment, but I'm sure that's not important.

Can you give a straight answer to anything?

So your trying to say that we are in a global economy but Obama has no effect or just no negative effect?

I remember when dissent was patriotic and the US was the economic engine of the world.

How much more HOPE and CHANGE can we stomach?

I'm not trying to say anything. I asked if you thought Greece's economic collapse was Obama's fault, and you misunderstood my question as a statement with which you disagreed, meaning you didn't think it was Obama's fault.

At this point you seem to be saying that Obama did cause Greece's collapse through a global economy, maybe. Since you don't answer questions in any manner a normal human would understand, I'm not sure.

I remember when dissent was patriotic and the US was the economic engine of the world.

Me too. What do dissent and patriotism have to do with this discussion?

How much more HOPE and CHANGE can we stomach?

12 gallons worth?

Only a fool would claim Obama had nothing to do with Greece's economic problems.

And you prove it is pointless to discuss anything with you, because you purposely misrepresent others' opinions, you won't answer a question and make vague wishy-washy statements in the few instances when you are on topic.

Have fun with that.

"I'm not trying to say anything."

So therefore one can't possibly misrepresent your opinion if you didn't offer one. That's about as wishy-washy as one can get. :^)

I would love to hear your opinion of the Obama Depression.
