If only the U.S. were as progressive as countires like Iran, North Korea, China, Venezuela, and Cuba we wouldn't have the problems we have today. Maybe someday we'll catch up with the rest of the world.
Thanks for your input; but I think you meant to say progressively repressive.
That's the reason no one wants to cross those borders into such repressive countries, not because of the consequences of crossing illegally. When given the choice, those that know whats best always choose freedom and liberty over repression.
